Senior Leadership Profiles
Linda Chin, President
Linda Chin joined the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) as President in
September 2008. She brings over two decades of management and consulting experience
to this new role. Ms. Chin is known nationally for her work in healthcare, most recently as
Senior Vice President for Planning, Marketing, and Public Relations at Cambridge Health
Alliance (CHA), an academic public health system and one of the ten largest health care
systems in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. While at CHA, she facilitated the annual
strategic planning process, directed the marketing and public relations functions, and
fostered collaborations with academic institutions, community organizations, and other
health care systems, including one in Nagoya, Japan. Ms. Chin has devoted her career to improving access to healthcare services to vulnerable populations and building stronger families and communities. She earned her Master of Science in Health Policy and Management at Harvard School of Public Health and Bachelors’ degree from Yale University.

Lucille Persing, Director of Advocacy Services
Lucille Persing joined ATASK in 2002. She supervises staff advocates and direct services, works with other managers to develop programming, and coordinates program reports. Previously, Ms. Persing worked as the Program Coordinator for Just a Start Community Development Corporation (Charlestown), and as Program Director/Legal Advocate for Services Against Family Violence (Malden); she was responsible for implementing and designing new programs, researching and writing grants, and hiring and supervising staff. Ms. Persing holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University.

Cristina Lee, Assistant Director of Advocacy Services
Cristina Lee manages the daily operations of ATASK’s emergency shelter and shelter annex, oversees staff, plans activities for shelter residents, manages in-kind donations, resolves problems among residents, ensures equipment and facilities maintenance, and assists advocates. Ms. Lee is also responsible for research, planning and implementing special projects to expand services provided. Ms Lee has experience teaching and developing curricula for young children and has worked in a variety of management roles for non-profit health centers and organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Yale University and received her Certificate in Public Health from Harvard University.

Elizabeth Vittum, Director of Development
Elizabeth Vittum is in charge of all fundraising efforts, which includes the ATASK’s signature Silk Road Gala, the annual fund, major gifts campaign, grant writing, as well as the agency’s publications for donors such as the annual report and newsletters. Ms. Vittum has more than seven years of fundraising experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in English from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
